El segundo trabajo largo de The Atomica Project, Grayscale (2008), recuerda poderosamente a los inolvidables Portishead de Dummy (1994) aunque nada a los actuales de Third (2008), más oscuros e industriales. Como la banda de Beth Gibbons, The Atomica Project también mezcla una excelente voz femenina (Lauren Cheatham), downtempo  y Trip Hop.
