En el abecé del Indie la W pertenece sin duda a The Wedding Present, un veterano cuarteto de Leeds que no ha parado de hacer buenas canciones y directos (estupendo el último en Madrid) desde 1985. El Rey (Vibrant Records, 2008), su último y estupendo trabajo de estudio, apareció hace poco más de un año, pero no ha sido hasta estas pasadas Navidades cuando lo hemos podido escuchar con toda la atención que merecía, con poco que hacer y mucho que mirar por la ventana. Y es sencillo y hermoso, como este ”Don’t Take Me Home Until I’m Drunk”.
